Location: Edgewood High School
Ages: Edgewood High School Students Grade 9-12 in fall 2025.
Time: Max 48 per session except for Football only session.
Fee: $100.00 for All Athletes
Equipment Needed: Athletic Clothes & Shoes, Water Bottle
Registration Deadline: May 31th, 2025
Camp Info: The Crusader Summer Strength and Speed Program offers each athlete the opportunity to become a better athlete through a sound strength and speed program, preparing them for greater success in their respective sports.
The goals of the program are as follows:
Each session will be divided equally between strength training and speed training. Emphasis will be placed on improving overall body strength, speed, agility, flexibility, and nutrition.
Instructors: Coach Costigan and other Varsity Coaches
Dates: Monday, June 16 - Friday, June 20, 2025
Times: 8:30-12:00
Ages: 1st through 9th grade (Going into those grades for 2025/26)
Cost: $150
Instructors: Edgewood Coaches/ Teachers
Campers can take advantage of various experiences in football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, soccer-golf, organized/ cooperative games, etc. Participants will move from venue to venue while staff guides them through practice, play, rules, and strategies. Teamwork, cooperation, competitiveness, and sportsmanship are stressed throughout.

DROP OFF/ PICK UP UPDATED:
Drop off - Alumni Hall area --walk outside to the right of the Alumni Hall (when facing it) to our ATR (Athletic Training Room) doors at the bottom of the walkway. We end each day in the Krantz Center and bring the campers to the front of Alumni Hall when the day is finished.
CHECK-IN:
It will occur in the Krantz Center (lower gym) every day. Before the camper begins setting up their bag and/or playing with the equipment, they MUST check in with the counselor holding the clipboard by the door!

This is an introduction to volleyball for kids in K-2nd. We will teach some basic techniques through various drills and games/ activities. Our goal is to make it fun and something that the campers will want to continue in the future.
Items to bring/have:

Our drop-off place will be Alumni Hall (the Commons). Students and parents can then enter and go straight to the Wilke gym (upstairs gym).

AGES: 6th through 9th grade (Going into those grades)

Instructors: Edgewood Coaches
Development of skills and techniques for those interested in taking their interior scoring and defending game to another level. Everyone should have a solid interior/ post-game, no matter your size. Learn what it takes to score efficiently in the paint/ create/ play through contact to help finish and get to the free-throw line/ pass effectively from the paint. Footwork, body positioning, and how to demand the ball & deliver passes inside will be emphasized. Short corners, elbow area attacks, and screening in the paint will also be taught. Campers will also be coached on their attentiveness skills.
We supply basketballs during the camp, so do not bring your ball.

This is an excellent camp for those wishing to build a strong foundation in shooting, dribbling, and passing skills necessary to become skilled basketball players. All skill levels will be challenged.
We supply basketballs during the camp, so do not bring your ball.

Instructors: Edgewood Coaches
Develop skills, techniques, and basketball IQ for those interested in taking their perimeter game to the next level. Offensive attack moves and counters, scoring footwork, shooting off screens, pick n' Rolls, one-on-one, two-on-two, and three-on-three will be utilized. Understand how to distribute the ball better to become a double-digit assist-maker. Campers will also be coached on their attentiveness skills.
We supply basketballs during the camp, so do not bring your ball.

This camp will teach offensive and defensive skills, strategies & teamwork through various drills and games. Each camper will be coached to apply the skills learned daily in the 3 v 3, 4 v 4, and 5 v 5 games they play during camp. Emphasis will also be placed on being a great teammate and growing leadership skills.
We supply basketballs during the camp, so do not bring your ball.
